"Thinking about Our Final Values Video."

Positive Comments:
Music was played at the very beginning of the video, used to help emphasize that they were going to go do something mischevious. Very edgy music. It worked because that's exactly what they went to go do. Michaela C and Ashley T.
. Overall, the music you chose worked very well with the film. -Kelsey and Kaycee
overall we thought you're video was sweet short and right to the point. -Isaiah S, and Cesar J.
The most important use of music was when the camera zoomed in on the dip. It was used to create a sense of comic relief. It worked very well because everybody in the audience laughed. Jake and Alex
We especially like the close ups of Michaela and Chris talking. John and Joselyn
The music was changed for some parts to give different feelings. It worked because it made me feel like i was nervous for the main character. Jacob D and Morgan D

Suggestion:
One edit we would've changed was the abrupt ending at the end. We felt that the out point was very quick. Michaela C and Ashley T

You didn't have any titles at the beginning, but the ones at the end were good, and everything was cited properly. -Kelsey and Kaycee

our strongest suggestion for you is add to the part when they throw away the chew Isaiah S, and Cesar J

There werent any titles in this video Jake and Alex

Two positive comments that we liked were from Isaiah S, and Cesar J. they said "overall we thought you're video was sweet short and right to the point." This was very helpful to us because that was the main point we were going for . We wanted people to get the point quickly and have some fun while watching it.

Also the comments by Michaela C and Ashley T. they said "Music was played at the very beginning of the video, used to help emphasize that they were going to go do something mischevious. Very edgy music. It worked because that's exactly what they went to go do." We really liked this advice because we thought the music flowed very well in our video and it gave us some extra confidence. And We planned the emphasice on the on the mishevious activity in the classroom.

The suggestion by Kelsey and Kaycee was helpful, they said "You didn't have any titles at the beginning, but the ones at the end were good, and everything was cited properly." This was helpful because now we know that adding some titles in the begining would enhance our video.

Another good suggustion was by Isaiah S, and Cesar J they said "our strongest suggestion for you is add to the part when they throw away the chew" this was helpful because we realize that the throwing away of the chew might not have been very clear or too vauge. This gives us a suggustion to show a can being tossed to make that fact known.

Rough Draft

Reflection Chris and Cole
1. the val
ue that we are trying to represent is courage. We wanted to show that it always smart to do what you honestly feel is right. Even though there are many pressures (Chew), you can always hold on to your own morals and do what is right. "Its not always cool to do whats right but its not always right to do what is cool." With this we hope to show people at this school that you can say NO!
2.My group has done many things well in this video. We took advantage of our different types of shots and applied them to this film. We used such shots as Close up, Medium, Long shot and others. Also we took advantage of music and setting in thid video. First off we used a couple types of music to show the different themes and strong points of the video, such as playing the bluegrass music during the scene where the chew is pressented, and The metal when we are ditching the class room. Next the setting helped us show the points we were at. The classroom was obvious and really helped show the fact that we were ditching. The scene in the alley showed a tough and rebel-like place where there was a feeling of wrong-doing.
3.We still need to complete a few things. We would like to go back and take a few more shots to maybe show a different vantage point of feeling during the film. Also we need to maybe work on the transitions a little bit more. We can add some more to the classroom scene if we have time, like maybe put a little more suspense in the ditching part..... Maybe us getting almost caught or questioned by the teacher or a campus supervisor.
4.We are Most in need
of feedback on the different types of camera shots and angles we used and possibly suggestions on new ones we could add or change in our video. We were also wondering if the music fit in the scenes that we put it in and how to add or fix it to make it better. What would be a good title for our video or is one really necessary?
Most in need
5. A challenge that our group had was finding music to fit our video and all of its scenes. we took a while going through all of the sites suggested on the class blog. We didint know which would fit the best. There were a lot of ideas throughout our group but in the end we ultimately chose the bluegrass and metal to show the tone or mood in the scenes where we have the music or actiong describing our value
