Reflection for final: I feel that I did a good job on the editing of my clips. They flowed well into the next frame and sounded nice together. Also I think my credits were done well. I cited all of my sources correctly and put them in correct oreder. I would of liked to of added music to my video. I didint have enough time to do it on this video but i will in the future. I liked this a lot because it catches the viewers attention and gives them someting nice to listen to while watching the video. I did all of the stuff in my groups video because it was just me. I was alone on my video so i helped myself. I would of added a few more scenes to the video if i had another chance. Or i would of liked to make my credits rolling or disappear like some of the other videos did. The last thing that i would of added would be a nice title i didint add one but would of liked to so that i could grab the people's attention.

Greenscreen workshop

Reflection: A green screen is a special tool that lets you create a background of anything. You film with a large green cloth behind you and with the green screen tools on the computer and on adobe after effects you can place any background on your clip or film. The important considerations are what you are wearing and how the background will look with your clip. The problems that can arise with eliminating a bakground would be acccidently blacking out or shading over a character and taking an arm or piece of the background out. Adobe premeire pro was easier to use for me because i have used it a lot before.

Cyberbullying Final Draft

Reflection: I am most proud of our editing of this video. We spent a lot of time doing this part of the video and it paid off pretty good I think. Also I liked the music and sounds we chose for our video. They went well with the video and importnant parts. The comments that helped us out a lot in the final draft were the ones that told us that some facts or a different break between our interviews would help. After we read that we added facts and it flowed a lot better. On the final video we changed the flow of the interviews and we shortened some of the sounds. If I had another day or two I would of made the credits a little better maybe rolling credits. If I had to do it all over again I would not of done much differently it was a good video in my opinion. I realized that it is a process to make and edit a video and you cant just do it and get it over with. I think our project had many good ways to get the message across that we wanted to tell.

what i learned from this video was a couple of things. One thing was the choice of backgrounds. This video had a lot of great sunny and green backgrounds that really helped to add to the overall shot of the scene.

As well as that i like the choice of people to interview. For example when they interviewed sparky it was great. It added a special touch especially because we had just gone to that assembly the week before.

I learned a few things from this video! First was the way that they had a group of students or people to emphasize their meaning. The way it had the students walk to class was cool and showed a school atmosphere.

Also was the music and audio effects. The use of dramatic music really helped me focus in and know that what was being said was very important. The music also kept me interested because it was not boring at all and kinda upbeat at times.

one thing that ive learned from this video would be the editing and combining of a varety of different interviews. This group did a great job at it and it flowed very well throughout the video. The interview that went from a student to the emloyee of the school was good and worked well to mix it up.

Reflection:This is an example of an overlayed title, which means the title is placed on top of the clip being played. You might use this kind of title when you want to stress the video in the background but still need a title, even if it vanishes out in the end.

Reflection: This is an example of an opening title, which means it is made for an introduction and not a template . You might use this kind of title when you want to edit it yourself and make it unique

Reflection:This is an example of a template title, which means it was an already finished title chosen to fit the video. You might use this kind of title when you want a similar title compared to the clips.

ExtractingSchlegel

Reflection: A simple cut in the timeline means you leave a gap in the timeline, when you cut, the other clips in the timeline spread out. A ripple edit is when you cut out a clip and the others shift over. you do this by right clicking and hitting ripple edit. when you ripple delete, the other clips in the timeline shift over. Lifting and extracting are two ways to cut multiple clips at one time. To do this, you right click and choose one. Lifting is like taking out, while extracting is like deleting, in terms of what happens to the other clips in the timeline. This is an example of an Extracting edit. I decided to delete the two clips where I did because they flow better

Insert1Schlegel

Reflection: This is an example of an insert edit. An insert edit places a clip in between the other clips. To do this drag while holding down ctrl. I decided to place the 2nd clip where I did because it is a good point to move the others over.

The difference between an overlayand an insert edit is one takes place over another clips portion and one simply moves it over. You would use an overlay when you want to emphasize on something, while you would use an insert edit when you want to use all the clips as one in this case overlay edit works better because it is like a dramatic pause.

Reflection:This is an example of an overlay edit. An overlay edit places a clip in some place in another clip. To do this, you drag it to the posistion you choose.I decided to place the second clip where i did because it shows a good image of her after her 1st jump and before her 2nd jump.

Reflection: I think am getting better at editing the videos.I did a good job of picking out the videos. I'm happy with the way I organized the videos. I should have a great looking video. If I could do this project over, I would make a different title. On my next project, I need to remember to line up the audio correctly. On my next project, I would like to learn how to make the process faster.

One way I helped my partner was to pick out the videos. My partner helped me by choosing a good title. On this project I gained a better idea about how to edit a group of videos, What helped me figure this out was to ask my fellow classmates. We overcame the challenge of a small font on the title by making it bigger.

My introduction

Reflection: My final product was great. It shows my skills of editing. I liked the title. I would make the video shorter next time. I helped my partner upload her video. The video on the library website helped me.I had to overcome the video not uploading at times.

Patience

The message of the video is to have patience in your everyday life. take others into consideration before getting angry. And the facial expressions showed the message.
The video shows good examples of lighting and camera styles.
